Hemp Cone! For late 50’s and early 60’s amps (Bassman, Concert, etc.) using AlNiCo 10’s, and a good replacement for Chicago Jensen P10Q in all Fender applications where a warm top end is desired.
10″, 11oz AlNiCo plug magnet, 20 or 30 watt, 1-1/4″ voice coil, hemp ribbed cone. This speaker has a warm tone, not too bassy but a good balance throughout. Top end is mellow and the attack is less immediate than other speakers due to the hemp cone. Hemp’s longer fibers give treble notes a sub-harmonic richness that warms the sound. Compressed and fattened at higher volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.
Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker. We build them one at a time, on a table – not hundreds at a time on an assembly line. This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

OK…have a cheap ($175)hybrid amp..replaced the originally put in eminence 8h20 ceramic… Sounded good but not great..ordered Jensen 10..not happy.. Four ohm amp made choices limited… Stumbled across this one gave it a try.. Sounds fantastic! Chimey highs..very bell like…mids and lows are fat and smooth…great for blues and Zeppelin, skynard etc.. Handles overdrive great. Made cheap amp sound like good one.
