For late 50’s tweed Deluxe, replaces Chicago Jensen P12Q.

12″, 11oz AlNiCo magnet, 20 or 30 watts, 1-1/4″ voice coil, seamed, ribbed cone.

Bright, later breakup that is very smooth and compressed at higher volumes. A favorite for late tweed and early brown Deluxe.

Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker.  We build them one at a time, on a table – not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker.  Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

You won’t find a better speaker for a Deluxe style amplifier. I use them in mine.

I build amps and the 12A125 is tops for vintage tone on a tweed deluxe. Standard equipment on my 5e3 Premium Amps!

Not a bad speaker for a Tweed Deluxe. Perhaps a little thin sounding compared to other options, but it helps brighten this amp up. The clean chime is really nice but I never liked this speaker driven. I find it a bit quacky, and a tad harsh. In all fairness I only used light dope, so perhaps heavier dope would help the driven tone at the expense of some chime.

I didn’t find it very versatile either – far too bright for many other amps.
