Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker.  We build them one at a time, on a table – not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker.  Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

I just had 2 of the 50watt 12F150-T installed in a 1970 Twin Reverb. They sound a lot like the original Oxford 12T6 45 watt speakers that came out of the amp. I compared the cones and they looked identical also. There were not many sound clips to hear with the 12F150T so I was nervous when I first plugged in. Again close in sound but the webers have a little more clarity and definition. I was worried they would be too bright. But they were not really any brighter than the Oxfords. A nice and tight low end too. I’m happy and content with the decision.

For my Tweed Bassman head , I have a pair of 12 inch X cabs and the speaker configurations are as follows

    – 1 x 12F150T Weber 8ohm
    – 1 x EMINENCE Redcoat Series – RedFang 12" 50w 8 ohm

The 12F150T provides that sparkle and the Redcoat darkens the tone. However next to each other they complement themselves really well.

When using these speaker combinations with my Super Reverb head I play it with a "clean tone". When using these speaker combinations with my Tweed Bassman, I put a Weber MASS Attentuator between the amp and the cabinet. The sound of a humbucker guitar (SH-4 JB Bridge and SH-1 59 Neck) is exactly like the opening chords tone of "Last Dance with Mary Jane".

Installed a 12F150T 50W Light Dope in my ’68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. It brought a lot of clarity to the custom channel that I felt was lacking with the stock speaker. I also plug my Pro Junior into this speaker and it really helps that amp shine. It gives it some more headroom/volume.
