Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker.  We build them one at a time, on a table - not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker.  Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

Peavey Delta Blues 115

Peavey Delta Blues 115

Based on what I understood about AlNiCo speakers, I bought this to replace the stock speaker in my Peavey Delta Blues 115 (II)
In the beginning, the louder she got, the more unbearable the high end was with humbuckers. This did not resolve itself after ample time for the stock speaker to break in. So I emailed three companies for recommendations on a replacement without making this sound too much like a Fender. Nothing against Fender, but if I wanted Fender tones, I would have bought one. One never responded. The other just condescended me and recommended an American voiced speaker (Peavey classics are British voiced.) The folks here were more than helpful, not condescending, and told me exactly what I was looking for. I took their pick of this 15" Blue Dog with light dope at 16 ohms (factory ohm) and put her in with a beam blocker. The beam blocker eliminated the need for a raised or angled stand for the amplifier and tamed a lot of those highs. The speaker set the tone to exactly what I wanted: To retain the classic D/B 115 sound, but make it better. Better break up at lower volumes, chimes galore, one-with-the-amp feel and response, articulate and blooms with a solid, thick crunch at higher volumes. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase. So a huge thanks to their friendly service, amazing quality, very competitive prices, and speedy make and delivery. I now play this more than my Mesa Engineering TA- 30 with an ability to get such a great sound at tolerable volumes for smaller venues. Oh, and I can't get over the pick harmonic squeals this thing puts out in comparison to the stock speakers! So again, thanks for saving my ears and the people who listen to me okay and the people who jam with me thank you as well.
