This attenuator has a main volume knob and 3-position treble compensation switch which affect the signal to the speaker. It also has a 3-band tone stack and volume control for the line out signal only.

Impedance selector for 2, 4, 8, 16 ohms, 0, 3db, and 6db treble boost, MASS bypass switch, unbalanced line out, tone stack for line out, tone stack bypass, extra output jack, range switch. The MASS employs an actual speaker motor for the load to yield a realistic interaction between the attenuator and the output circuit of the amp. The attenuation is continuously adjustable from -3dB to over -70db using the speaker control and the range switch.

By turning the speaker control to minimum (maximum attenuation), the unit may be used as a dummy load for testing or for DI use.

Optional wings may be employed for rackmounting the MASS (sold separately). The MASS occupies two rack spaces and requires adequate ventilation for proper operation.

This item is hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to its construction.  We build them one at a time, on a table - not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality product.  Please allow at least 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

Designed for use with 60w amplifiers and lower.

This attenuator has a main volume knob and 3-position treble compensation switch which affect the signal to the speaker. The line out signal is dependent on your amplifier settings.

Impedance selector for 4, 8, 16 ohms, 3-position treble compensation switch, MASS bypass switch, unbalanced line out. The MiniMASS employs an actual speaker motor for realistic interaction between the attenuator and the output circuit of the amplifier. The attenuation is continuously adjustable from about -3dB to over -50dB.

By turning the speaker control to minimum (maximum attenuation), the unit may be used as a dummy load for testing or for DI use.

5.5” x 5.5” footprint (add 1” in front for knob). 3.75” tall. 3.35 lbs basic.

Designed for use with 35w amplifiers and lower.

This attenuator has two knobs for tonal control. The main volume is controlled by the Lows-Mids knob. Then to control the treble, use the Mids-Highs knob. The treble control is always dependent on the main volume control. Be aware that the higher the setting on the main knob, the less the effect of the treble compensation. For instance, if you turn the main knob all the way to 10, you'll notice very little change in the tone as you turn the treble compensation from one end to the other. The line out signal is dependent on your amplifier settings.

May be used on 4, 8, and 16 ohm amplifiers. Includes MASS bypass, and unbalanced line out. Two power level controls, one for the bass-mid frequencies and one for the upper mids-treble frequencies. They may be adjusted independently for the best tone at all levels of attenuation. These controls affect the actual signal going to the speaker, not the line out signal. So, it is like having high level tone controls. The controls are very effective and the tonal combinations are virtually infinite. Because a MASS motor is employed, a more realistic interaction between the attenuator and the output circuit of the amp occurs. The attenuation is continuously adjustable from -3dB to over -50db using the attenuation controls.

Like all Weber attenuators, setting the attenuation controls to minimum (maximum attenuation), allows the MicroMASS to be used as a dummy load for testing or for DI use.

Like all Weber attenuators, setting the speaker control to minimum (maximum attenuation), allows the MASS Lite to be used as a dummy load for testing or for DI use.

Optional wings may be employed for rackmounting the MASS (sold separately). The MASS Lite occupies two rack spaces and requires adequate ventilation for proper operation.

Designed for use with 60w amplifiers and lower.

This attenuator has three knobs for tonal control. The main volume is controlled by the BASS knob. Then to control the mids and treble, use the MIDDLE knob and TREBLE knob. The middle and treble controls are always dependent on the main volume control. Be aware that the higher the setting on the main knob, the less the effect of the treble compensation. For instance, if you turn the main knob all the way to 10, you'll notice very little change in the tone as you turn the treble compensation from one end to the other. The line out signal EQ is dependent on your amplifier settings, with only a volume and tone control on the unit.

May be used on 4, 8, and 16 ohm amplifiers. This MASS is unique in that it has an actual tone stack for the speaker signal -- BASS - MIDS - TREBLE. It also has the internal speaker motor for the load, and has a variable line out signal with volume and tone. The unit has two speaker output jacks to support multiple cabinets. The three tone controls can take the signal from whisper quiet to full on with slight humps in the bass, mids, and treble.

Additionally, the MASS III has an active bypass circuit with a footswitch so you can run attenuated or bypassed. The footswitch has a 12' cable, and the power pack for the switching relays is a 7.5VDC wall wart. With no power applied, the attenuator is still usable. The power is just for the footswitch circuitry.

Like all Weber attenuators, you can turn all attenuator controls to zero, pull the speaker, and just use the line out, making the MASS III a dummy load.

Optional wings may be employed for rackmounting the MASS (sold separately). The MASS III occupies two rack spaces and requires adequate ventilation for proper operation.

Designed for use with 80w amplifiers and lower.

This attenuator has two knobs for tonal control. The main volume is controlled by the large Speaker knob. Then to control the treble, use the Treble Compensation knob.

200 watt MASS with a moving voice coil speaker motor for the load. This unit is impedance swamped to protect the output of your tube amp, and may be used with 4, 8, and 16 ohm amps. Includes adjustable Line Out, System Bypass, and Variable Treble Compensation. Volume level is continuously variable to over 50db of attenuation.

Like all Weber attenuators, setting the speaker control to minimum (maximum attenuation), allows the MASS 200 to be used as a dummy load for testing or for DI use.

Optional wings may be employed for rackmounting the MASS (sold separately). The MASS occupies three rack spaces and requires adequate ventilation for proper operation.
