Aggressive replacement for Vox and Marshall ceramic 10’s. Also works great in Fender amps. This speaker can do it all.

10″, 50oz ceramic magnet, 1-1/2″ voice coil, special ribbed cone (wolf cone). Aggressive, later/smooth breakup, plenty of snarl on this beast.

Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker.  We build them one at a time, on a table – not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker.  Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped

I had a 16 ohm-30 ounce magnet version of this made to fit my little Vox AC4-TV a while back and I think it’s settled in quite nicely. Surely a rock solid and versatile replacement speaker that compliments all the character of the amp but lets you dig into some bold and aggressive tones as well.
If your looking for something voiced around single coil sweetness to gritty gain with humbuckers…go with the Gray Wolf!

I recently bought a ceramic Gray Wolf 10 from you and I would like to congratulate you on building such a fantastic speaker. I discovered the Gray Wolf 12’s last year and put a ceramic 30 watt version in an AC-15 clone and it changed my life. It is the most versatile speaker I have ever heard. I can’t seem to make it sound bad. So I ordered a ceramic 15 watt version for a ’64 Gibson GA-19RVT, and again it improved the amp considerably. Now I have put a 10″ 25watt version into a ’61 Gibson GA-8T. This amp is an 8 watt screamer that I have loved since the early ’90’s. Over the years I have tried several speakers in it, all changing the sound to varying degrees. The Grey Wolf has blown them all out of the water. As with the 12’s, this is just the best sounding, most versatile speaker I’ve ever had in this amp. The cleans can chime or be fat and jazzy with wonderful definition. The breakup is smooth and musical. It does not sound thin and bright, like most of the other 10″ speakers I’ve tried, it’s fat, detailed and balanced. The absolutely amazing thing about the Grey Wolf 10″ is the bass tones. It is not weak in the low end, it just sounds clearer than the 12″ versions I have. It is also a very efficient LOUD speaker. I used to say the GA-8 was like a little Marshall, now it’s like a big Marshall. So thanks very much for improving my tone.
