Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes.

Ted Weber Speakers are hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to your speaker.  We build them one at a time, on a table – not hundreds at a time on an assembly line.  This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality speaker.  Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be built and then shipped.

I play professionally and had a custom cab hand made for me. I got great advice on choosing some specifics and my speaker arrived in good time. I can not get a bad sound out of this speaker. It has a nice warm ring to it and does all the musical things I want an AlNiCo to do (sing and crunch and chime, and deliver pleasing timbre). This is pro grade stuff at a very good price, and I will be using Weber for my future speakers without hesitation.
My application is clean to light distortion, el84 class A head.

Paired a Blue Pup and Silver Ten in my Orange Rocker 32. What a difference they made compared to the Orange branded stock 10s. The clean channel is much warmer and more defined, and breaks up beautifully when pushed!
The Dirty channel is now much tighter and smooth. Great bass response for a 2×10 combo! Nice mids and top end chime without being harsh!
    Weber customer for life!

The Silver Bell Alnico 10 is KILLING it as well. It’s in a Mark Sampson Star Nova combo, small little guy that came with a stock old school Jensen alnico. Night and day now, the Silver Bell has raised this amp’s game to levels above where it was. It’s a very nice, very well made Sampson circuit, a mini Matchless, with two channels no less. It sounded great before, but now it’s a beast!! Full low end, never muddy, but strong. Mids are singing and beautiful. Highs are chimey and not harsh in any way. This speaker compresses in the most beautiful way when pushed.

Compliments and gratitude to team Weber

This is one of the best 10″ speakers you can buy. If you’re looking for the a certain blue / gold type of sound without spending nearly twice as much for the new 10″ versions, just get one specially made for you direct from Weber. I got a 10″, 30 watt, 16 ohm version with no doping for my Mesa TransAtlantic 1×10 cabinet and all my small, low-wattage heads put through it sound phenomenal. Clear, balanced, from low gain cleans to high distortion pedals it all just sounds great, at low bedroom levels up to band-level play. I mostly play at apartment-safe levels and love the present low and high end at lower volumes. I last only had a Red Fang Alnico in this cab, which is also a great speaker, (but they don’t make the Alnico version anymore!) The Red Fang Alnico is a bright speaker, but not as ‘chimey’ with a more present midrange and a normal low-end very appropriate for Fender-y tones — good in its own way, but not what I was looking for. I’ve been using low-wattage Vox (Lil’ Night Train), Egnater (Tweaker 15), and Marshall (DSL1HR) heads with this Mesa cab, and the character of Weber’s Silver Ten is much more balanced, deep, and fun to play across all three. I almost considered the new 10″ version of the well-known ‘UK Gold’ speaker, but super glad I went with Weber’s option, the price is crazy good for a hand-made-in-USA-to-order speaker with your exact specifications.
